Default Verizon Programming

Verizon's Programming is making me consider walking away. They keep adding 24/7 Religious programming channels and neo-Nazi (hard right-wing) programming. I am in Manhattan and do not want a channel lineup better suited for Alabama or Mississippi.

I am pretty much at my tolerance limit.

Out of curiosity, do you have some examples of those channels?

The Blaze, NEWSY, Newsmax, OAN, Fox Business, Fox News. Adding together all channels witrh Fox or Fx (or Fxx) in their name, like 10 of them, you might think that Rupert Murdoch is the major stockholder in Verizon.

If I want any left leaning broadcasts I have to go to wade through local Public Access for a couple snippets.

I don't know if Spectrum/Time Warner (my only cable alternative) is any more balanced but I think I am ready to give them a try.

You for sure need to switch!

If I want left leaning broadcasts, I need only tune to ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, CNN, BBC-America, or dozens & dozens of others.

Give Spectrum/TWC a try. I'd bet they provide most of those channels included in your subscription.

Best to check/verify with them:
https://www.spectrum.com/packages.html

If you seek "left leaning" material... subscribe to Rolling Stone magazine.
