Default FIOS DVR incorrectly recording reruns

For the past week, my DVR has been recording some reruns. The recorded programs show incorrectly as "new" in the guide. My setup is correct - record only first run programs. I have the quantum "6 at a time" DVR. Examples:

NCIS New Orleans recorded date - 11/1/16, shows as new, but original air date was 11/24/15.

NCIS recorded date - 11/1/16, shows as new, but original air date was 3/15/16.

Chicago PD recorded date - 11/2/16, shows as new, original air date shows as 11/2/16, but that is wrong, it was a rerun. I watched it quite a while ago.

I think that there were also some others like the one above. Anyone else have this issue? I have FIOS in Southern New Jersey - a suburb of Philadelphia PA

All of the providers are at the mercy of the sources of the guide data. Many channels just don't do a good job of providing accurate data.

Nor do they necessarily comply with the beginning and ending times they publish. If I want to record something on the DVR I try to add time to the beginning and ending.

Ted, how do you add time at the beginning of a show? THey make it easy to choose to add 5 or 10 minutes at the END, but I can see no way to add beginning time except to schedule a clock, just like the old VCR settings.

Do you ever notice getting a show in two pieces, like one for a minute and the other for 29 minutes.
