Default continue 1080tvs production

my 2yr old name brand tv broke down. no picture. i tried a 4k top tier brand. didnt like it. 480 did not look good on a 4k. there is not that much superHD programming out there.
myself i would like to see makers to continue to make 1080 even in the bigger screens of 60 and bigger. the hype of lines on a 1080 in the bigger screens was made out to be worse than it really was.
could we take a poll and send a message to the makers that we would like to see 1080 in the future.

That's a list of LG's 2019 TVs. The last one - the only HDTV on the list is a 32" display.

i dont care. dont want 4k/8k. most stuff from OTA is 480 then 720/1080. I don't know if the industry will invest in this at this time because of the cost and still recovering from the jillions it cost to make the change to digital.
1080 worked much better for me for OTA SD-480, 720/1080, DVD on a blu-ray and internet. Maybe 4k is good if you have a lot of blu-ray discs. Other than that there is very little superHD stuff for 4k. At least not yet. I don't like being force fed something i don't want or don't need. 1080 is fine.
