Default How Do You Rate ATT U-Verse?

I rate them a 10!

We had ATT installed in 2-11-10 for U450, internet, and phone.

ATT came to the house in 2015, as had internet connection issues. The tech noticed we had outdated equipment and installed an all WIRELESS system at no charge. Perfect!

March of 2018, I talked to our local ATT U-Verse Regional Manager, located in our city, and was getting no sound from one of three TV's. I explained what I did to trouble shoot, by trying one of the other DVR's. One of his techs was at our house in a couple hours to install the new DVR. Now, is that service!

Since 2012, I have had one year verbal contracts with my package price going up from $165/mo to today's $190 with Tax included or 13% in approx. 7 years. Oct 2017, I am locked in with that price for 2 years. U450, 45Mbps Internet, + phone[land line]

We have had only 2 interruptions of service since 2010. Yes, we have had Directv and Charter/Spectrum with NUMEROUS issues in past years. How has been your ATT performance?

After 20 years with DTV we were forced to go to U-Verse in our new home.
Took getting used to the DVR Interface , but it’s getting better.
My home was hard wired with multiple Gig routers so I can use the minis wired.

Their RF remote is absolute garbage so we are having new cabinet doors installed. Very difficult getting customer support in the beginning, but I’m learning how to deal with the.
I do miss my Directv DVRs but am learning how these systems work

Their remotes sometimes have a hard time getting thru glass doors if hitting the glass just right. The other thing you could have considered is buy a Logitech Harmony Remote at Best Buy or elsewhere.

I am lucky as we have a Regional ATT substation in our city and I e-mail the mgr directly. One of his experienced long time techs lives 4 blocks from our house and have his e-mail also.

I don't understand that you were forced to go to ATT U-Verse? Good Luck.

What is the main difference, why the issues? I am thinking of switching from DTV to U verse if the picture is better. Is it?

In reference to Took getting used to the DVR Interface ,

IF REMOTE IS SLOW On your remote, press and hold the "SELECT" and "MUTE" buttons. Wait for the Green lights at the top of your remote to blink twice. Then enter" 963" ,then press "CHANNEL DOWN" button. Wait for the Green light to blink 4 times. This procedure stops the IDing of the Remote to the Recv'r everytime you press a Remote button(I know it sounds weird but it seems to work for me!!)
Good Luck!
