Default Lost a Local Station

We have been w/o CBS, out of Madison, Wi., going into the 5th week.
We have 3 tv's and my wife's, she records her nightly shows.

I thought about getting a Clear Stream indoor antenna for her CBS broadcasts, but when I told her she would have to do some switching, that was out of the question.

The holding company is located in Madison, WI., with only 6 TV stations and own 4 radio stations. They are a small holding company and for them to accept an AT&T increase, I guess it is to much for them. I did email them and received a reply. We will see if CBS will be back on the air with AT&T U-Verse.

Voicing your conserns to AT&T will not do much, however complaining to the FCC may do something, get as many as you can to compain tothe FCC and they may step in.

Also do a TVfool report for your location to see if you can get away by using an indoor antenna.

Go to the link below.

And if you want you can post the report link back here and we can help you out.(it will not give away your address)

I got a reply back from the holding company today and they did complain to the FCC. They also told me they are going into negotiations with Charter Cable this week. It sounds like they are going to forget ATT and continue to stand their ground.

I wonder if their advertisers are aware that the ATT Customers are not able to watch WISC. I think they cover a much bigger market with Charter/Spectrum customers and hope they have an immediate resolve with them.

I have an indoor Clear Stream antenna on my wife's TV and she hates the switching just to view CBS. Then trying to record the evening CBS shows, that requires additional equipment. I don't blame her and the $80.00 antenna is a waste of time and switching complexity for her, not to be bothered with.

I am going with the hope that they will settle with Charter in the next 2 weeks w/o Charter shutting them off too. He seemed a little more positive working with Charter. We will see, b/4 I switch over to Charter Cable.

I will be standing by to see if we will have CBS via ATT or Charter cable. Which ever comes first, I will go with.

It has been nice the WISC holding company has been keeping in touch with me.

We got CBS back last Friday Night. It was a pretty long waiting period between them and ATT.
