On 2-22-17, I renegotiated our one year contract price, earlier, to see if I could do better with our U450, 45Mbps internet speed and phone.
Our new contract price is for TWO years with $173.00/mo + taxes. After reaching their normal CS dept, you then have to ask for their, "ATT Loyalty Dept." You will be switched to an ATT rep in Michigan. Long story short

I had to contact ATT again as the fellow that agreed to the 2 year contract, did not perform the correct procedure or not at all.
I got 2 months credit for over charges per verbal agreement back in February. Now, I understand, after talking to this new person and working through approvals, put on hold, for my 2 year contract after 40 minutes, I received a reduced package price of $164.00 a month. She issued the credits right away and told me to pay the current billing at a lessor amount. We will see what happens now, if they hold per verbal agreement and if she pushed the right buttons to lock in the price until August 2019.

When my contract was up they were dicks and wouldn't work with me st all so I changed to directv. Still owned by Att. Have same internet and channels. They had to come out and run all new lines and new equipment. The product sucks though, weather knocks out the satellite all the same time, on demand is so shitty it isn't even usable. I should have stayed with Uverse. Next time I am just gonna switch it to my wife's name as they are gonna have to come out and switch it back again and re run lines again when my time is up

I have our conversation documented for future reference, again. I was very polite with her during our whole conversation with several thank you's. She did go to work for me to make me a happy customer, .....for now. lol My DSL internet speed is 45Mbps+ most of the time and never dips below 42 at peak times. It is fast enough. I may have the phone removed at a later date, if necessary. Ya, forget Directv IMO, and it was a separate company at the time. Being way up north, the slightest cloud cover, the picture would fade out. I imagine if we had internet service with it, it would have been out too. We had separate Charter/Spectrum internet with my modem. I didn't especially care to reach up with a broom to dust the snow off in winter temps, either. When I saw my sons ATT-Uverse 1080i picture in 2009, that was it. A tech came to our home for something and noticed we had an old equipment, 3 years ago. All was changed out to wireless with 3 new receivers at no charge. A month ago, I had to e-mail one of the local techs to let him know that one of the receivers would not turn on. He was on vacation and the regional tech manager picked it up and came to our house that afternoon to replace the power cord. You talk about ATT U-Verse. NICE! Just a note. Whenever I have to mention "CABLE" the ATT Loyalty Rep, does perk his/her ears up. Their, "Loyalty Dept," did want to work with me and my patience. Charter/Spectrum in our area, has a 3 year locked in package price. I imagine, it is everywhere. Good Luck jkkyler.

Update: On my monthly ATT billing it has,"Two Year." It expires 9-19 and will wait a year and see if they will renegotiate.
I did save $20.00 a month on billing for U450, Internet, and phone. Total new monthly billing is $190.00 incl tax, for everything on 3 TVs and DVRs. What I like is everything is Wireless!
