Default Uverse Channel 1800

Channel 1800 had the brilliant nature and travel videos, accompanied by great music. Now it says "no longer available". Will it be restored soon, and if so, where? Why did we lose it?

My guess is that ATT no longer wanted to renew the contract with them. Our the program station no longer could afford and went off the air. What would be your educated guess?? Ask U-Verse direct?

I wasn't looking for a "guess"--educated or otherwise. Doesn't the company monitor and respond to legitimate questions on these boards? I pay a lot for that uVerse subscription, even though the programming is about 90% garbage. Ch. 1800 was a welcome exception, like going on a vacation without having to travel. Let's bring it back--or something of a like nature.

Now, today, the sorry so-and-sos have completely deleted Channel 1800 from the system. It is like they took out the 13th floor in a hi-rise building--you jump from 1799 to 1802. No explanation, of course, and no advice as to how to find that prior programming.

It is all totally Orwellian, the way the unknown hands behind the system manipulate and control us, never giving the courtesy of any information. But I guess we knew that was going to happen going into this "information age" didn't we?

AT&T U-verse, commonly called U-verse, is an AT&T brand of triple-play telecommunications services, although the brand is now only used in reference to the television portion of the services. Launched on June 26, 2006, U-verse included broadband Internet (now AT&T Internet and AT&T Fiber), IP telephone (now AT&T Phone), and IPTV (now U-verse TV) services in 21 states.
On September 19, 2016, AT&T announced that the "U-verse" brand would no longer apply to its broadband and phone services, renaming them "AT&T Internet" and "AT&T Phone", respectively.
