Well I sure hope Auburn wins out and gets in the playoffs, it's bad enough that Bama has ESPN blowing their horn all the time & I don't get it because 3 years ago Ohio State destroyed them in the playoffs then they did win the next year and then last year Clemson scored almost 40 points on that supposedly greatest defense ever in college and beat them in the championship.
And I sit right here and watched that Mississippi State game and MSU got robbed on that pass interference call late in the fourth quarter when it was third-and-long for Alabama., Was a joke in my opinion.

I'll definitely be rooting for Auburn

And by the way things are going in college football this year people are going to be really pressing for a larger field then four teams in the playoffs I've always said I thought they should have 6 or maybe 8 and this season here is going to show why when it's over I believe there should be at least a couple more teams.
I've always thought they should take the conference champion from each conference ACC, BIG10, SEC, BIG 12 PAC 12, plus 3 wild cards...... That's only three extra games for two schools that make it to the championship two extra games for the ones that make it to the semi-finals so I don't think they can complain about it being too many games which is what I always hear them say.

Well good luck you two, Wareagle has decent lead but you never know lsilvest is within striking distance.
This is first time I have had zero chance at the end but I'm gonna pick like I'm in the mix

They gave a legitimate scenario that a 2 loss Ohio State team could make the playoffs this morning and of all people to totally agree was Mr. SEC Paul Finebaum.

Scenario
Bama wins out
Miami beats Clemson
Oklahoma wins out
Ohio State beats Michigan & then Wisconsin in Big 10 title game.

Now you got
1 Bama
2 Miami
3 Oklahoma
4 you must pick 1 of the 2 loss league champions OSU & USC & no contest OSU is in. They didn't even give USC shot.

This is why I said earlier there's gonna be a lot of pressure for an 8 team playoff now.

It won't bother me if OSU don't get in they've been inconsistent all year.
Will bother me if an average Clemson team does. How they beat Auburn is beyond me & then lost to a sorrrrrry no good Syracuse team.

Clemson beat Auburn because Kerryon Johnson (RB #21) was injured and didnít play. Heís clearly been the best player on the team offensively, and he opens up the passing game for Stidham.

Well that makes sense now because I didn't know about Johnson being out against Clemson that Johnson has a shot at the Heisman Trophy I think, or at least to be a finalist to get invited up to New York.
I may be doing terrible on my pics but I do know Auburn is a better team than Clemson.

And because the scenario for the Buckeyes to get in is slim to none I'll be rooting for Auburn all the way. I would love to see them put a butt whipping on Alabama.

Well Wareagle first of all congratulations on winning the pics and I will start up a bowl picks tomorrow or Monday.

My vote would be
1. Oklahoma
2. Clemson
3. Georgia
4. Ohio State

But it don't matter Ohio state is loaded up for the next couple years didn't really expected this year but just because it's Alabama would love to see Ohio State get the nod for the playoffs.

It's been an absolute crazy and fun season sad to see it come to an end as far as those good meaningful games every week but we have the bowls an the playoffs.

If Alabama doesn't get in I'm telling you guys if you got access to the SEC network or the radio where you can listen to the Paul Finebaum show Monday I think it's on from 3 to 6 Eastern Time it is going to be crazy probably the best 3 hours of listening to people rant about Alabama not making it in years of college football talk.
He has a great show already but I'm just saying that will really pour fuel on the Fire if Bama is eliminated lol

Well wine baby Nick Saban got his committee to put his team in and now they have two SEC schools out of 4 playoff teams in the SEC is not even the best conference this season and hasn't been for the last couple seasons.
You can go back ever since they started the playoffs and look at the post that I have made I've always said I don't care if it was 2 big 10 teams or from where but if they ever put two teams from the same conference in a 4 team playoff it would ruin the playoffs because now if Georgia and Alabama win and meet in the finals the ratings are going to be nothing people don't want to watch an extra SEC Championship game what a shame...... USC deserved to be in over Alabama.

Clemson plays in probably the weakest conference of all the big five but I hope they beat Alabama into the ground and under the ground.

Ohio state will be just fine they're young full of freshmen and sophomores , we will lose JT parrot but that's okay there's a better quarterback waiting in the wings but Shane on that committee for putting two SEC schools in a 4 team playoff

Thereís really no right pick for the 4th team. If you put in USC, the argument will be they got destroyed by Notre Dame. If you put in Ohio State, the argument will be they got beat by an unranked Iowa team and already lost to Oklahoma at home. The argument against Bama is they didnít win their conference. UCF is undefeated, but have they been really tested. Iím hoping this makes them expand after the current deal to either 6 or 8, but there is still going to be someone left out.

Rosco, Iíve been meaning to tell you Iíve seen OSUís future QB, Emory Jones, play a few times in high school this year. They just lost in the semifinals but he played very well. I donít know how Urban Meyer found this kid in such a small town and a small school, but kudos to him.
Iíve also seen Clemsonís next QB play this year. The amount of talented QBís in the state of Georgia this year is amazing.

Yeah I was pretty hot at first because not only did Bama not even play in their championship game but the last month I watched Mississippi State give Alabama a free wind they had them beat I don't know if you watch that or not it was a night game on a Saturday and Mississippi State blew it in the 4th quarter and had a terrible pass interference call against them that saved Alabama on a 3rd down and long, plus Alabama played a team called Mercer toward the end of the season and they just didn't play good for a month but I'm okay with it don't agree with it but I'm okay with it.

And you're right this is what I'm hoping also that it puts the pressure on the committee to make it I say an 18 playoff the five Conference champions automatic bids and three at-large teams then you would have these 8....
Conference Champs Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia, OSU, USC
Wild cards: Bama, Wisconsin, UCF
Those would be my pics and just imagine the money college football would rake in.
The reason I would leave Auburn out because I do think they are a top 5 or 6th at least is they have 3 losses plus I think there should be a rule of no more than 2 teams from any conference any season.

Thanks for sharing that about that Ohio State future quarterback I look forward to seeing him as Ohio State will have this guy you're talking about plus two others that are freshmen competing and that's what you need at quarterback in college is strong competition.
And I'm just excited because the only player that college football fans are going to notice gone for Ohio State next year is J T Barrett they won't even know the names of the very few other guys leaving Ohio state is loaded with freshmen and sophomores that are top notch and next year it would be extremely disappointing for Ohio State not to do extremely well.

I don't want to say nothing bad about JT Barrett he stepped in second game as a freshman and just exploded and Ohio State was unbeatable after he took over and he won Big Ten player of the year and then got hurt in the Michigan game but we ended up winning the national championship.
But sadly if we would have pounded Wisconsin Saturday night I believe Ohio state would be in the playoffs and the reason we didn't blow them out is JT Barrett couldn't get the ball to his receivers he kept throwing it behind them and then wide open. But it's been a good run with him I'm not going to bashing over this.
He may not even play in the bowl game against USC I would not if I was him because he's obviously going to try to make the NFL.

I have tried the last two nights to set up the college bowl Pick'em on my phone and it is just not letting me do it on Yahoo where we are already set up.....so I'm going to have to plug in my laptop tomorrow and see if it will let me do it on my laptop cuz I figure everybody will want to play that as far as me War Eagle in the lsilvest and anybody else that gets on here and reads and wants to play just let me know you're welcome.

But if I can't get this fix tomorrow on Yahoo I was going to set it up on ESPN if that's cool with everybody else it'll be the same thing confidence points but no spreads on the bowl games.
