Default 4 tower speakers in 5.1 set up?

Hello,

This is my first post, but I have been viewing this forum for quite sometime now, and figured I should join up. My first question is my sound system set up which I really want to set up right. I am going with a H/K 347 and the Energy Reference Connoisseur RC-30 tower speaker for my front left and right, while an other energy connoisseur RC-LCR will be used as my center channel. My question is will I get the best sound quality using another pair of RC 30 tower speakers for my rear? Right now I am torn between a HK or Energy subwoofer.

thanks for your input!

I have towers in the rear and although you will never take advantage of the rear speakers to full capacity it sounds good. I like it because I sometimes listen to music in 5.1 stereo surround.

Im not the smartest person in here so someone correct me if Im wrong, but I think technicly your rears are supposed to be set 6' 8" off the floor. If that is correct, then it would be kinda hard to do that with towers wouldnt it?

Actually, the rear speakers are supposed to be at ear level.
