Default Post your HT setup

Ok I searched and did not see a similar thread so I apologize if this has been done before.. I figured this can be the place to show people what your Home theater setup looks like.. I look forward to see other peoples HT arrangements

This is the setup I have right now in my room (roommates keep me from moving it out where I would prefer it to be). I plan to move into my own house this may and have already started saving for a 61-73" Mitsu or Sammy LED DLP. I have speakers I want in mind but have to wait till they become available in my area..

I started this hobby about a year ago after I got my first HDTV (Olevia) and HTiB (Yamaha) and suffice it to say the bug hit me hard ..

here's a shot of my "movie_time" setup - the Fathom is the sub in the right side. The Supernova is behind my left tower.

Thank you - the Fathom on the right has it's feed from under the floor, you are correct. That is also true for the Right Surround channel. They're small holes - just big enough to get the cable ends through.

Here's my system after recent audio upgrades. Someting this year I will build a room in the basement, put in a projector & screen and move this all downstairs.

5.1: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1169512581823

360 to 5.1 via optical digital cable.

TV stand for $120 at big Lots
White shelf at big lots for $30 to keep my games up high so my 3y/o won't get to them, yes the shelf is secured to the wall with a bracket.

Battery back up with surge protection for $48 at circuit city, they were getting rid of them for new stuff, new they used to cost $199, so I got a great deal.

Next tv with tax refund in a month or so (will post pics when I get it): http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/nav...278&pCatg=5883
