Default Denon compatibility with Samsung TV Auto Return

I have these very new systems and I use Direct TV and a Play Station. The problem I have is with the return HDMI capability. It's supposed to allow for, automatic switching when you change sources.

I have the Denon connected to the proper TV HDMI and it works for my PS3. So when I turn on the PS3, the sound switches on its own from my normal Direct Tv sound.

Getting back to Direct TV , I need to grab the Denon remote and redo the source. Same with using TV audio for Netflix.

Very difficult to troubleshoot. Anyone have the same problem?

Thanks in advanced

This is the way it should work, the Denon can not read your mind

A universal programable remote (Harmony is the best and most versatile) so you can change all your components with one touch plus vol./channel functions.
