Default Selector Switch Box?

My denon avr 3600 shut off about 10-15 minutes before the end of the movie anchorman 2 I rented from redbox last night.

The light was blinking red. Look on youtube its a common problem. Hold ac3-rf and phono button and power at the same time and it resets.

Now it works but five minutes later same thing.

I returned anchorman 2 by the way but I have others blu rays.

I have hollowman 1 and 2 in 1 disc. I have jackie chan the spy next door in bluray and regular dvd. So I can compare picture quality. I have no other copys of anything on both formats. I have the fantastic four 2 discs both movies in 1 case. And night at the meseum 1 and 2 in 1 case. And I have a ton of dvds.

Any how so its strange it does not work. So I took it all apart and rewired it. I removed the ceiling speakers from the back of the receiver and have them tied to the back for now.

So its just the top of tv center speaker. And the side speakers.

Very top link mvvg blogspot link has pics of my setup. Except I removed some bananas from the receiver. But the rest of the pics are good.

Now it works good. No more shutting off. I am watching hollowman 2 right now and 44 minutes in no shutoff like last time.

The problem is too many things hooked up to my receiver is shorting it out.

Would that staples link solve my problem. I can connect it all and select like if I want my ceiling speakers to run. Or I want my tv speakers side and top to run.

Or is that too much. It says 1000 watts output and my receiver is only 700. Side speakers energy-c25 are 150w each and top center energy-c is 100w. So 400w total. And with ceiling is probably more than 700 total all. I think they are sonance speakers. So will that switch box put 1000w and fry my receiver.

Or will it just use what ever is connected. Like if I active top and sides it will give 400w to my receiver. I can leave the ceiling off and only give 400w to my receiver.

Or does it give 1000w all the time even if nothing is connected and turned on.

Thanks for any input.
