Hi! I have surround sound speakers obviously. The placement are 2(one left one right) of the TV 2(one left one right) back of room and in the backyard, 6. I have the ones in the backyard STRICTLY for music but when I watch TV I don't want my neighbors annoyed by TV shows playing constantly. So how can I turn off only the 6 in the backyard? I am willing to get a product to help too

You have 10 speakers connected to the same outputs??????
Most good A/V receivers have a Zone A and B, A is the 5 or 7 speaker and the sub (5.1/7.1) and B is stereo (2.0). They are independant so they can be turned on or off seperately. 10 speakers connected to one output will burn up the receiver. |

I would recommend a speaker switch box with impedance matching like this one:
Pyle PSS6 Six-Zone High Power Stereo Speaker Selector |
