Default Sub in cubby-hole behind plasma TV - problems?

I have a Polk DS7200 system (with integrated sub/amp) and am considering placing the sub in a large (CRT) recess behind where I plan to mount my plasma TV. It is the ideal spot for both space and tidiness, but I am concerned that the bass waveforms could affect the TV. Heat is not a problem, as the space will be well-ventilated. Any thoughts?

TIA,
Bill

Not sure about any damage but that sub in that space will be quite boomy. Might hear some rattle from the cubby as well. Don't think you are are going to care much for the sound.

Agreed - don't see any damage occurring unless the vibrations are so bad it shakes your tv off it's mount but I also doubt you will care for the sound that way.

I also don't see a problem. You could try it and see how it sounds, I guess.
