Default JAMO 707i

been looking to replace my 30+ year old cannon (10" woofers) floor speakers for some time now. im using a yamaha RX-V620 500 watt amp for power, large yamaha center speaker and two of the smaller yamaha rear surround sound speakers. well i found out that a good pair of front tower speakers are not cheap, seems like decent ones start at $400.00 per speaker and up. listed on craigslist that i was looking for decent tower speakers and i was emailed about some one having a set of JAMO 707i,s that they had bought in 1993. did some research and seems they were pretty pricy when new and have some outstanding reviews. he wants $350.00 for the pair, excellent condition and he will guarantee them to work perfectly. thoughts on these speakers, by the way for what its worth they were made in Denmark and they weigh about 57 pounds each.

Not really heard of too much, they seem to have a very good reputation. I would test them out before buying. check the tweeters they go 1st.

bought them. unbelievable sound quality. the man i bought them from got a deal on them at $1350.00 for the pair. ofcourse that was 9 years ago. what was really ice is that i didnt have to readjust and of my surround speakers. the sound is crisp and clear. i didnt want to spend a ton of money on a new set but didnt want a $300.00 pair that every one says = there great for the price. when listing your ears arent hearing = hey they were cheap, they hear = hey they sound bad. he gave a a written guarantee on them. as for any speakers in them going, well they sell replacements. ive don the before with my 30 + year old cannons.
