Default Configuring Surround

Hello Everyone,
I am trying to setup the "configuration" for my surround speakers and sub-woofer, but the more i read about Hz, crossover, etc., the more confused i get. thank you.

Some of the questions i have are:
1) what Hz setting should i set for the surround speakers
2) what ohm for surround speakers, 6 ohm or 4 ohm? 8ohm was not an option with my Amp.
3) what Hz setting for the sub woofer.
4) do i or should i do a crossover?

Here are my equipments:

Onkyo TX-SR805 7.1

Sub-Woofer
PSW125 -12" Woofer
Total Frequency Response-32Hz-225Hz
Lower -3dB Limit 34Hz
Crossover 60Hz-110Hz

Surround Speakers
Polk Audio TSi100 Bookshelf
Frequency response: 53Hz - 25kHz
8 ohm

Center Speaker
Polk Audio CS10
53 Hz - 25 kHz
8 ohm

Per the manual for the 805 or any onkyo - If the resistance is between 4 and 6 ohms choose 4 ohms for any resistance above 6 ohms ( 8 Ohms) choose 6 ohms.
typically 80 hz is a good crossover level as that is the range at which audiblr frequencies can be localized. The trick is nnot to set one too high and another too low leavig a 'gap' in what is played thereby losing frequencies.
If you have an additional choice re lowpass (or highpass) for LFE set that at 120 as that is where the lfe channel ends.

short answer fronts/center and surrounds set at 80hz and the sub at 120. set ohms at 6.

BTW the 805 is a great receiver - It has high end burr-brown DAC ( subsequent years they cheaped out with lesser quality cirrus logic ones)
