Default Good inexpensice Floor speakers.

Hi im looking for some good floor speakers, and need some help picking some out.

I have 2 in mind right now that I can get for less the 300$

"Polk monitor 60" and "yamaha ns-225f" witch pair would be better? Ill be using them for front speakes, my current set up in in my sig.

the yamahas frequency range goes up to 50khz and the polk goes to 25khz, would that make a big difference.

are their any others i should be looking into?

You really need to audition them as beauty is in the ear of the beholder. Specs mean little...

That's one thing I like about the Speaker company's 30 day audition period. If you don't like them you can send them back and they even pay for that.

Exactly. Hearing them in your own environment is the only way to see (hear) if they sound good to you, with your equipment...
