Default Mitsubishi WS-55613

I had the TV repairman in to look at my WS-55613. I have wavy lines (horizontal) in my picture. Sometimes it clears up itself but it is getting worse. The lines are there 98% of the time now. He said it's the primary circuit board.

A few questions: first where can I buy one direct and second is it a difficult install. Looking at it, it appears to be pretty simple.

In July I had the "blinking green light" fixed at a cost of $300.00 and a total of $6.00 for parts. Now they are telling me the primary circuit board is $347.00. Labor is free since I paid for a contract last visit. Can I purchase the circuit board much less than the quoted price or is that in line?

Thanks,
Jack
