Default am I 3-d ready?

I hope I am not putting this into the wrong forum. If I do I appologize. I have a Mitsubishi WD-73735 tv. It says it is 3-d ready. I also have a newer ps3. When they give the firmware for the 3-d to my ps3 is that all I need to watch 3-d movies since my tv says it is 3-d ready or are there other things I have to buy too? Thanks

You will probably need a 3-D converter box and of course 3D glasses that match the box.
