Default Panasonic 56lcz70

Hey everyone, new to the forum. Just picked up a 56" panasonic DLP. This is my second dlp, first was a 52 toshiba that the colorwheel went out. Anyway got it for $120 because it has a bad lamp. Its the LiFi plasma lamp, and is nothing like the toshiba. Cant figure out how to get it out without taking the whole tv apart. Dont want to take apart more than I have to. Anyone know a simple way to get it out? I need the whole housing out, which is way different than the simple slide out dlp lamp fixture in the toshiba. Any help is appreciated.

First your TV is NOT a DLP it is a LCD projection TV. Secondly the LiFi bulbs are guaranteed for 5 years so if the date of manufacture is within 5 years, Panasonic should replace the bulb for you. I sure hope they do because they are almost impossible to find and expensive.

If they don't extend the warranty then I guess you're out of luck, sorry. BTW, where did you find a bulb? And what is the price?

Company called American Retroworks in Vermont.. They had 4 instock when I called. This is the whole unit, not just the bulb.. $300-$400 through panasonic, got this thing for $20, so I was pleasantly surprised. Phone number is (802) 382-8500.
