Default Sound bar can't find TV audio out

I have an older model Sharp Aquos 32" TV and a new Visio sound bar. I have hooked up two TV audio outs to the sound bar and still have no sound in the sound bar. What is wrong here?

What is the model number of the sound bar you have?
What outputs from the TV are you using/trying? R and L analog (red white cable) optical or coaxial.
What input to the sound bar are you using =, AUX 1, AUX2, optical or coaxial?

Does your TV only pass audio to externals if the internal speakers are disabled?
If using analog (red/white) from the TV, is the output fixed or variable?
What audio sources from the TV?
(internal tuner/OTA? DVD player through the TV? Roku.... etc.)

More detailed info would be helpful.

Default found it!

I turned the speakers on the TV off, and did a manual input search and it found the source. I was using the Digital Audio out and the analog audio out. I don't know which one the sound bar found, but now it works. Thanks for the feedback.
