center speaker on a floating shelve?

Default center speaker on a floating shelve?

i have a center speaker that weighs about 21lbs.im wanting to build a free floating shelve above my tv.my concern is if it fails and falls it will destroy my plasma.any ideas on what would work best.i have aleast 2 wall studs to use if i make the shelve the length of the speaker or i can make it longer and reach 3 to 4 studs i just dont know if it would look good with a long shelve above my tv.any help would be nice thanks

lowes sells some nice floating shelves that mount to the wall many colors and sizes i have one under my tv for dvd and cable box def. hold your speaker

i decided to make my own.thought id share a pic.its made out of walnut .disreguard all the christmas stuff,and no my wall is not pink it is maroon it just looks that way because of the flash
