Default Help: Convert 200mm Arm to fit 100mm VESA TV holes

I have a 9-year-old 43-inch TV in my living room.

I just bought a brand new 43-inch flat screen. The problem is that the arm that held up the old TV has a non-removable, flat, tilting plate with only 200mm x 200mm VESA holes.

Of course, the 2019 TV is so light that it only has 100mm x 100mm holes.

My current 200mm arm is sturdy and installed firmly. I'd rather not remove it to put a new mount in.

How can I convert this plate to hold/fit a TV with only 100 x 100 holes?

If possible, drill new holes in the mounting plate. If not, then make a plate with both sets of holes. Bolt the plate to your new tv with standoffs the thickness of the bolt heads (hex nuts will work) and then bolt the plate to the mount.
