Question Help with mounting Samsung PN63B590T5F

Hello all,

I recently purchased a Samsung PN63B590T5F (63" plasma) along with a Sanus VMPL3-B wall mount, which is (or should be) guaranteed to work with the TV because it was a bundle deal on Amazon's "frequently bought together" feature (and I figured I couldn't pass up getting a top-quality $250 mount for about $100).

The problem is that the hole pattern on the back of the TV is extremely funky:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0029ZA25W/ (Click on the picture of the TV then click on the rear view to see what I mean.)

The holes on the bottom left and bottom right are recessed, which means I can't attach the bracket to them. It wouldn't matter anyway, because the only holes directly above them are angled near the top of the TV. My only option is to place both of the brackets extremely close to the center of the TV, i.e., leaving a measly 6-7 inches of space between the brackets, rather than the roughly 36 inches or so I was planning to allot.

This seems extremely unsafe to me. The mount is capable of attaching to three studs, which I was planning on doing anyway, but is that going to be enough to counteract this problem? Or am I being silly and this will work just fine?

Thanks,
nibiyabi

I have 58" Samsung plasma (on a wall)-- it has the standard VESA mounting hole pattern 600mm X 400mm. This is same as the 63" you have. The mounting holes are 600mm apart (Horiz) that is just over 23 1/2 inches. Could it be you are looking at the wrong holes? Check page 49 of your owners manual.

Oh shit, I am so stupid. I was looking at the wrong holes. I was wondering why they looked so flimsy. Please disregard.
