Default Lost OTA Channels

Help please. I always had NBC OTA. Last night we had thunderstorms, and I lost NBC. My signal strength to the tower is at the highest level. My antenna is in my attic. I turned the TV off, disconnected the antenna connection and the connection to my TV. I turned the TV on, and I ran a channel search. I had read somewhere this should clean out any bad data. I turned the TV off again, reconnected the antenna and the connection to the TV. I turned the TV on and ran another TV search. Still nothing!! All my other OTA channels are available except NBC channels 33-1, 33-2, 33-3, 44. This is in Baton Rouge, LA.

Would greatly appreciate help.

Try selecting the "real" channel (34)? Sometimes that works.
Is the station broadcasting? Perhaps the storm knocked them offline with technical issues.

If you had lightning in the area then their tower may have been hit and they are on low power standby transmitters, you could always try contacting them to see if this is the case.

Looks like channels 33 and 44 experienced outages simultaneously in the past.
