Actually Windows Media Center is available for Windows 10 now. I have installed this software on my i5 laptop computer and It works fine. I use the USB dual tuners.

I even installed this on a RCA windows 10 Tablet PC and by using a powered USB hub to power the tuners, it works very well even with 2 dual tuners which allows 4 tuners! I added a 1.5TB drive for storage.

USB HUB:

Dual USB Tuners:

Remote control:

1 TB Hard Drive (powered by USB hub):

Instead of the remote controller you may wish to use a remote keyboard & mouse.

I think you've already written off the Tablo box, but I figured I'd just jump in and say if you use any kind of set top box, it's a really nice way to distribute signals - and you don't need to roll / maintain your own. I've had great luck with mine combined with Apple TV boxes, and it's pretty painless. Service has been really helpful as well.

We need the rest of the story!!

Uniman45 did you ever get this setup? If so which direction did you go?

I read the entire thread - but the last chapter is missing!

BTW, sorry for responding to such an old thread - - - sorry in advance!
