I use a freeware program called DVD Flick. It converts almost every type of file available. I have burned about 20 or so DVD's using DVD Flick as the converter with complete success in each case. Give it a try.

Great success! I converted the same file to DVD with DVD Flick and now it plays fine on both players, especially the new one.
Thanks so much for your kind help

Glad I could help. And I will add that I have tried many file conversion programs, many of which were very expensive yet none worked as good as DVD Flick. Just wish I had found it before I made those other purchases. Please make sure all of your friends know about this great, free program.

I was planning to do the same. It was my lucky day getting advice from you

Yes, I had already thought about it. Open Source can be really great sometimes
