Default Denon 1612 Receiver

Is there a way to turn off all video processing and just let the video signal pass through the receiver untouched? I used to run Comcast Cable directly to the TV and got a great picture. Since I bought the Denon and run Comcast through the receiver and out to the Sony LCD Bravia TV, the picture is now mediocre.

I can't find anything in the menu or the owner's manual to turn off video processing. Any help much appreciated.

Here is a link to a great DENON info site http://batpigworld.com/or research your owners manual.
