Default Onkyo NR515 OR ?

Looks like I'll be upgrading the old Yamaha RX595 to the above if I get the right answer ? OR ?
By looking at a picture of the back of the Onkyo NR515 it looks like the
sub connection is a HDMI plug in
Am I missing something here ? I thought most if not all subs plugged in by an RCA plug in type , at least that is what my sub is and how it plugged into my Rx595 and most other ones I've seen...

I was looking at the Denon 3312, 2312, Onkyo NR 414, NR515 ...
I can get the Onkyo NR515 plus 5yr warranty for $450.00 OTD..
The Denon 3312 plus 5yr warranty $829.00 OTD. (open box)

I don't see myself streaming etc , but just mainly watching BD , DVD's movies.

Thanks for any help and recommendations !!!

No sub connects by HDMI - you must have seen it wrong. It is an rca connection

The onkyo has so much more in the way of features than any comparable avr. I would advise to make sure the amp is wrat. Lower model are not. The amp tech they use is like far beyond any, in that you cannot hear certain freq. but you will "feel" the lows if you have a decent sub. combined with blu ray audio, it's amazing.

Wound up with the Onkyo NR515 from RC Wiley paid $399 + went ahead and got the extended warranty total cost out the door was $458 and change.
Got the weekly Fry's add in the paper this past Sunday and saw the NR515 for $299.99 quick call to RC Wiley and they credited my card back $107.25 no questions asked !
They have have been very good to deal with !
If anybody is looking to buy electronics to furniture ? I'd highly recommend RC Wiley !
