Like a box of Cracker Jack, the PlayStation 3 has a little prize inside. Within every PS3 gaming console comes the world's most advanced, most affordable Blu-ray Disc player.

Playstation 3 is a good choice to have BluRay player and wonderful videogaming console
The teconology inside of PS3 is too advanced and a complete home theather solution costs much money !

But the first step for the future starts with PS3. I love SONY PS3 !!!

I think the key factor with the PS3 is that it is the best value.

Not only is it a blu-ray player and can play games, but it is also a media center.

I think one of the most amazing things about the PS3 is that Sony actually has a product that is underpriced compared to what it is capable of and the current cost of other BD players.
Keep up the good work Sony

I agree 100%. It's a top notch BD player and they haven't scratched the surface as to the gaming powerhouse it is! And with the 360 price drops Sony will have to follow.

Default Exceptional Value

I picked up a PS3 back in the beginning of June, and I haven't looked back since. The blu-ray capabilities are fantastic, and the games are truly terrific.

As a "grown up" professional in my thirties, I never thought that I would buy another video game console... but the PS3 is so much more. It really is a multimedia hub. And man, nothing compares to Metal Gear Solid 4!

Another PS3 lover here, it is a great value so I own two. That is only accomplished by Sony selling the console at a huge loss, reputedly about $3 billion has been lost so far selling about 15 million consoles. It it had been priced at a cost plus the usual profit margin for a Blu-ray player, I wouldn't own two of them and probably wouldn't even own one. As far as value considering what it does at the price it is sold for, it is unequalled in my opinion based on approximately 40 years of being involved with this hobby.

How about buying a desktop w/ Blu-ray drive? You might get a Blu-ray drive around $100.

Good point and you can build a KILLER pc for less than 1500.00 that will perform well for years.
