Some good stuff and well presented...

But the p in 1080p means parallel?

VGA/RGB does not support HD?

720p is also considered ED?


All little things though and mean very little to someone viewing this that is in the market for thier 1st HDTV...

True but Newegg makes mistakes as well, something to remember when reading their reviews...

Didn't he say old broadcast TV was 480P? It was 480I.

When it comes to monitor resolution, I have never heard of "P" to stand for parallel, only progressive. If it was parallel, all the lines would get lit up up at the same time, not scanned in sequence.
