It's a tie between Big 3
Based on the shoot-out results, it has become clear that what is impotant & deserved higher ranking for one caliberator (or any individual) does not have to be important for another. And we're talking about the top 3 calibrators (Kevin Miller, DeWayne & Ed Johnson) here who does this for a living!

For a layman users like us, most of us won't be able to tell the difference from one to another. Just out of curiosity, I took the test results & copied in a spreadsheet.

Then I avergaed out various parameters like Contrast Ratio, Color Accuracy, Moving Resolution (Sharness), General Content - Video Quality, etc. to determine overall picture quality.

To my surprise, the top rated TVs tied at Average 8.3 & they were::banghead:
Samsung PN59D8000
Panasonic TC-P65VT30
Elite PRO-60X5FD

In otherwords, one should be happy with any of the above caliberated TVs as long as overall PQ is concerned.

Now the question is, how does the 65VX300 or 65PF30, which are supposedly professional & better monitors, compare to above?

I AM a professional calibrator & I DO make a living from calibration work & I was at the shootout for 2 days sitting at different positions. IMHO, the Samsung plasma was the winner......a subjective visual opinion.....but I would submit that to a prospective client BEFORE the Elite.
