I wish Paulís family love and healing to get them through this tragic time. He will truly be missed. This is such a great lose to our community.

well said.. HDF has a huge hole in its heart right now. We will adjust and move on.. but we shall never forget our brother, Paul... taken so suddenly, so soon, so very early.

He's probably telling samcan and L2W about the latest releases on bd! He has taken the true HIGH ROAD now................

I hope others have found it in their hearts to make a donation to Paul's family, even if it's just the cost of new disc or game, which is little in comparison to what Paul sacrificed to preside over our "home site" to make it the place that it was and will continue to be. It will help support the educational cost that his family will experience with him no longer there. They afforded him the freedom of time to be with us, and it's only fitting that we show our care to them. Thanks everybody .......
We cannot bring him back, but we can show what he meant to all of us by our generosity.

Here Paul, these are reserved for those who we hold near and dear to us all ..... The dancing banana tribute for all those enlightenment's you bestowed on us. Thank You !

I know what you mean O-man . . . While I did not actually ever meet PFC5 face-to-face, we exchanged a few PM's and emails, and we often engaged you, Scottnot, and others in "off topic" discussions. You get a sense of who people are and just a glimpse of their character in these discussions-- I felt that Paul was good guy. I miss him. There just seems to be something missing here for me now-- or something in me that is missing now; I just can't seem to engage like before . . .

It was just such a shock; seems surreal to me that the passing of an "internet friend" would provoke such a sence of loss . . . I don't understand it. I feel so bad for his wife and kids, as do most all of us here.

I know as time goes by, feelings soften and loss becomes easier to deal with-- and one day when memories of PFC5 slip through our minds, we will remember our friend fondly and recall that he was a "good guy" and smile, a sad smile nevertheless, and move on-- but not just yet.

I can't believe it. Got back on the forum for the first time in a few months and find this. So sad, will greatly miss his wisdom and the great attitude he brought to this place. Godspeed.

Those were Paul's favorite images during the format war.

I just can't believe he is gone.
