I am still in shock, 24 hours later. HDF is missing one of its' foundation.
I will be honoring the day of silence in Paul's honor as well as making my donation.

We've lost a brother and a friend.............

I just happen to see this thread. This is very sad news. PFC5 helped me so much when i first joined as we had similar TV's back then. And when i thought about buying a new one he never hesitated to help again thru the forum & private messages....Super nice guy that I am glad I crossed paths with in this life.

May he rest in the peace of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ

me stands with pappy on friday the 11th as a day of remembrance. And beyond that date - one true way to honor our revered friend - is to maintain his beloved forum, and try to mimic his responses. PFC5 was most intelligent and it clearly showed in his post's when assisting fellow members. To honor Paul, would be to share his enlightened attitude in our responses to new and existing members. And many thanks to Rbinck for sharing the sad news, and assisting with the PayPal setup. me urges all members to donate what you can. Peace be with you brother Paul.

PFC's motto was always "take the high road"... as many of us had been PM'd by him or directly in threads... That attitude finally sunk in with me and I wil continue to honor his memory with that attitude.

I got on yesterday morning and read the news and was stunned. Took me a day to process it. I don't know what can be said about PFC5 that hasn't already been said. He was pure class from head to toe and will be missed. I still can't believe that I will never be receiving a response from him or seeing his wisdom rein a thread back in. God Bless and Gods Speed Paul. Heaven has gained a true gentleman.

I just had a gut feeling when he went MIA for such an extended period. He was never "off-line" for any period of time here, this was his second home and family, and he treated everyone like they were family.

Unhappy

....I always marveled at his patience, especially when answering a question for the 1000th time. Notice how many new member inquiries go un-answered now that PFC is no longer with us.

So true, it's time we all step up and try to assist those with inquiries as a memorial to him and do so as he would've with an abundance of patience.
