HDTV: 10 Things That Don't Make Sense

Washington, D.C. (March 17, 2010) -- During the course of a day, I read dozens of news articles about High-Definition TV. But the articles often leave me asking more questions than answering them.

It's not the fault of the writers (well, not always). Usually, it's the TV executives who are quoted in the stories. They purposely leave things vague or sometimes tell outright falsehoods in an attempt to fool the public.

Companies love to create certain perceptions, even if they defy common sense and truth.

So, as a public service, I thought I would comment on 10 things in HDTV that recently hit me as simply not making sense.

He definitely brings up some interesting points.

I'm not an HD expert by any measure, so I would have liked some data backing up these claims. The first line reads:

So where are the links to these articles?

LOL - so which of the 10 do you disagree with?

Lee, I'm not disagreeing with the points mentioned in the article. They all seem pretty interesting, but I'm just saying that I would have liked to see the articles that made this person come to their conclusion.

Bwhahaha! Holy sh**, you're right. This is not to be taken seriously. I FAIL!

Hmmm, although the "HD Hottie" section looks good. See what I get for scanning over things too quickly?

He gets his "information" from sites like this one and all of the others around the internet. No original thoughts at all except that for some reason he hates DirecTv.

Overall I found the commentary to much less intelligent and insightful than many of the post here.

I think it was a rather poor article that sort of mixed up apples and oranges. Was looking forward to an in-depth article...

The only "articles" he reads are posts on all of the boards like this around the internet. He dislikes Directv intensely for some reason, maybe he had a dispute with them at some point. It's a blog and he can say anything he wants to but he's not a journalist and his predictions aren't news.
