Here's hoping Toshiba is willing to take some big losses with its SRT players so I can pick up one cheap! Sony is way ahead of Toshiba when it comes to subsidizes so now is as good a time as any to close the gap.

It's interesting that "Official" figures show that the PS3 has outsold the 360 because that bears no resemblance to evidence I have to hand. I don't know a soul who has a PS3 for gaming, not one!

Every gamer I know, most of whome were all rabid PS fans are now firm 360 supporters, even with the hardware problems most of them have suffered, their support for the experience the 360 provides is undettered. None of them rate the PS3 highly because it cannot offer the live experience or the wealth of games the 360 does. Even the Wii loses it's appeal after a very short time amounst the hard core gamers I know.

Hi. My name is awol. It's nice to meet you.

You now know at least one soul who has a PS3 for gaming.

And yet, you cross into say Spain, and suddenly its different, and Microsoft is struggling to earn a market base.

My circle of friends were avid PS2 supporters, then they all jumped on the Xbox360 bandwagon, thanks ot Halo 3. But slowly, they are each getting a PS3, mostly for Blu-Ray though.

Actually, it's interesting that Microsoft (months later) have actually just come out and denied the PS3 has outsold the 360 in Europe. (after I made the post saying the PS3 was ahead) apparently Microsoft are over 3 quarters of a million ahead of the PS3 in Europe.

I know as many people with PS3s as 360s, but they are vastly outnumbered by the number of people I know with Wiis.

Indeed, it's quite amazing just how much it's caught peoples imaginations here in the UK. Nintendo as a brand was an absolute joke just 3 years ago.

LOL, he is a PS3 Nuthugger. I bet he uses his PS3 to play PS2 games, just as spite and to support the Sony crusade.

Last time I checked, the PS3 didn't have nuts, and I think that's something I'd definitely notice. It would probably cause it to sit a little lopsided in my cabinet. Plus I would think the underwear it would need for "support" would interfere with the cooling fan.

But yeah, the beauty of the model of PS3 I bought does in fact let me play PS2 games. So I'm not quite sure what you're trying to get at there...

Oh, and you are DEFINITELY one of those crazies I wouldn't want knowing my real name. And you're a tool.

He's probably just a typical adolescent as they are getting crazier and dumber at a younger age every year.
