Default Warner not dropping HD DVD!

So can we lay to rest the Warner to blu exclusive rumor yet?
http://www.movieweb.com/dvd/news/81/25381.php

I think some of us expecting big studio shifts at CES might be a little disappointed...

Until Warner gives a "official" reply, this is and all other reports are rumors!!! So your post can also be put in this catagory! Stop the !!!!! We all know Warner is Neutral!

Well It's good to see it again in print. Even if it is the 4th time.

Of course "the unnamed WB executive" really isn't going to help dispell the rumor. Only time will - after the CES show we should see things calm down and get back to normal.

Wow! I'm kinda new here. You guys aren't the friendliest of people, that's what I'm learning. Maybe I should just reply to posts and not start any threads. I would rather not see this ugliness pressed towards me.

Just disregard this thread, or delete it or something!

It's not that we are unfriendly - it's just that everytime we see one of these - it just starts a lot of fanboy posting and arguing. So we try to avoid them - especially as I pointed out - nothing is new with the article - there is no direct quote from a named WB executive.

So don't take offense. It's not you . . . it's the subject matter.

No, you did right. It's a new article and I'm grateful for the link. And to those who don't like it can go piss up a rope.

Don't worry about it and keep posting articles as you find them. The whole point of this area of HDF is to talk about what's said in the news and what it really means. With all the Warner stories floating around people are getting a little testy.

Sure it sucks sometimes to go through a bunch of posts that are the same, but with the growing popularity of HD, there will be more and more new folks (I'm one, only 6 months in "the game") will be here. We should try to be welcoming. Freddy
