Once again Troy . . . .

High Definition DVDs (Blu-Ray, HD DVD) A place to discuss High Definition DVD releases and availability for Blu Ray and HD DVD. Which is the better format?

And I have made an observation. I don't chastise you for not buying one of the formats. I am stating that you own neither.

Where I say it is based on what you post.

An HD DVD player is an inanimate object. (1) They should not fall in love with a piece of cold plastic-and-metal. (2) Therefore they should not take offense.

(3) If they feel they wasted their money, that is unfortunate & I sympathize, but then they should have done what I did. Sit back and wait to see who won. (4) But since they chose to take the risk, then they should deal with the consequences of that risk, rather than get angry or sad or whatever.

same here super you need to get over the death of hd dvd.
when the war was going strong one thing both sides had in common was the need for one standard format, that was the cry.
now that we have one standard format there more anti-blu-ray bs now then there was during the war!
the bs is coming from hd dvd supportors that in my opition are not dealing with the loss of hd dvd very well.
by the fall bd players will be able to offer everything hd dvd had in a player.
so its time to get over it.the question is ,do you want hdm mass adoption or don't you. if you do ,then bd is your only option.
thats the question for all hd dvd supporters, keep what you have or get rid of it. but sooner or later there will be no more titles in hd dvd.
in a year or so all this talk about hd dvd is going to mean noting,in fact it gonna be forgotten.blu-ray will not be the next betamax.
you know why.... because the industry wants blu-ray to be the next gen dvd format.and they will do anything to make that happen.just sit back and watch.
