Thumbs up Get an additional 5% off Heroes HD DVD on Amazon.com

Saw this on another thread and thought I'd share:

Just input the code tvguide5 when you checkout. Total price comes out to $66.45 (-$3.50 from $69.95) and runs through August 31, 2007.

Here's the TVGuide page with the promotion: http://www.tvguide.com/special/dvd/

Thanks for posting here! I actually saw this over on AVS, and I went ahead and ordered.

Since I got in on the 1 year at an extra 10% off deal last fall, my Heroes order is for a total of $59.45. Sweeet!

And, I didn't even see the series on TV. I'm buying based on positive word of mouth...

It? This is a thread about Heroes: Season 1!

BTW, DLP stinks. Plasma and LCD are way better. Everyone knows that!!

Pay attention to the thread!
"It" refers to my Blu-ray player. The poster was wondering why we BD guys like Blu-Ray.

BTW: I have a plasma, lcd and dlp and the DLP rocks and yes they all are larger than 42"!! But to each his own! We all have a preference!!

I still don't see how his initial response had anything to do with BD. The OP mentions nothing about the format war, just the video on sale. Smthkd, get some some sleep, you are starting to lose it.

heh, I'm just trying to work out how the heck Blu Ray can come into a HD DVD exclusive release. Theres not really anything to compare if the content u want is locked to a specific format.

I loved the episodes where the kid and his mom were playing PS3. It's not every day you get to see an advertisement for a Blu-ray player in a Universal TV show

Still considering whether or not I should buy this.
