Default The Hulk

Just picked this up and watched it last night. I found the PQ to be very good, even with all the CGI involved. I was worried HD might show the flaws in the renderings, but I thought it looked great.

Anyone else grabbed this yet?

If you did not see flaws in the theater then you won't see them on the DVD. Film has better resolution than 720p or 1080p.

I didnt see it in the theater. I only saw it on SD DVD when it first came out and I rented it, so I didnt really remember much about it.

In high definition you can see all the crap in perfect clarity. Seriously how does a movie as awful as this one deserve an HD release. The effects were very good but thats about it. It is slow as a snail carrying Ted Kenedy and features some beyond terrible acting.

Thanks for the thread-crap. You don't have an HD DVD player and don't like the movie - why are you posting at all?

I actually picked it up a couple of days early (the BBBs finally made a mistake at my local store.) PQ & AQ were phenomenal, imo. The CGI's never looked better and you can see every crease and line in Sam Elliot's face.

If for nothing else, it's a great demo to show people what HD DVD's capable of. I'll probably never watch the full movie straight-through, again, but the Hulk scenes are cool to watch every now and then.

The money that made this movie could have gone to cancer research for all we know. For a good movie with the Hulk watch Ultimate Avengers. The end battle of all the Avengers versus the Hulk was awsome.

Well Im somewhat biased as I never have been a big Hulk fan so maybe if you were a fan it would have been more enjoyable. My boy loves that Avengers,he's tried to get me to watch it a dozen times but havent yet...maybe some night.

I didnt think the movie was as bad as everyone said it was. I could have done without the pseudo-comic book transitions, but it was worth a watch.

Who do you think would win in a fight: Superman or the Hulk?

Before you answer that, I should mention that, in this scenario, the Hulk is wearing kryptonite pants.

Superman, because the Kryptonite pants can be destroyed, eliminating the threat.

Problem with that question is Superman has had many different incarnation with varying power abilities. He originally couldn't even fly. Superman would win in some incarnations and the Hulk would win in others.

Not as much. The 70s television series is the only place with a low power ability. The comics and animation incarnations of the Hulk are mostly consistant with a few exceptions.

Ummm.... no.

There were a bunch of different Hulks. Some were more intelligent than others, some were way stronger than others, etc. There were three or four versions that were used a bunch, but there were several others. Some were only used once or twice, IIRC.
