I thought the 3D was good. It reminded me of Bayformers 3, done real well just to add some depth to the movie. Im not big on the gimmicky stuck flying out of the screen.

Last: The Amazing Spider-Man

I saw this at the theater, so I went in already knowing I would like the movie. The AQ had clear dialog, and some of the action scenes were pretty loud, especially the end. Gunshots sounded great too. I could have done without some of the musical choices though.

Other than a couple of instances of softness, the PQ looked great, and this is by far my favorite Spidey movie yet. 1 and 2 with Tobey were good starts, but I never really felt he fit the bill, and the 3rd movie was a mess. Im happy with Webb's work so far.

Im a found footage junkie, and I was surprised by this one. Along the lines of Paranormal Activity and Blair With the way it's filmed, I found it to be fun.

PQ was a little dark, but nice otherwise. My only issue with the audio was that to get the proper volume for dialog, the music and some sounds kinda ended up blowing you out of the room. Movie is just a guy flick with lots of death, I mean its Seagal and Austin

Watched new Batman last night

pretty good, did not have the WOW factor of TDK, but still it was a good movie and holy shit THE SOUND was super, the sound engineers really stepped it up LOTSA ! Rumble and the surrounds were full of well placed effects. The PQ was very good considering it was mostly shot in those dark foreboding scenes. A lot of deep blacks and thunderous bass made it a 4+ stars for me. I know I'll be rewatching this a few more time
over the next week. 165 minutes (long).

I'm sure I probably won't like it very much. I was bored with TDK but I did like Batman Begins. Since I have those two movies (Batman Begins on HD DVD and I just got TDK for $3.96 at Amazon) and I like digibooks, I decided to pick this up at Target (which is the only way to get it since it's not for sale online), as then I'll have the trilogy for completeness sake.

I liked the first two, there are just too many holes in DKR. You'll see, especially with Bruce's back and the prison. It's just nonsense, and Im really surprised those elitist Nolan fans gave him a pass on this one.

It really should have been a two parter, they crapped all over the Bane story (Im a comic fan).

I was never into comix after the 50's kinda grew away/up But when I started the batman series I kinda viewed the movies much as I had remembered the older batman comics presented character wise, and that comic book type effect these later series are trying to delve deeper into SE and CIG content some of those comic-book moments are fading .
