Default Crazy story..

I have had an issue for years with HDTV's on the main floor of my home. This might sound crazy, but it's the truth. I have always had a problem with the TV in my family room as far as the noise around subjects on my picture. I always thought it was the TV itself, but after buying a Sony 4K and having the same result I know its something else. Something is interfering in the area and I cannot figure out what. I have taken the tv upstairs into my bedroom and the picture is what I expect, clear and sharp, the same picture Im always envious of when my family and I go out to eat, ect. I get the perfect picture as well when I take it outside on the deck for football night games. I have used different hdmi cables, coax cables, plugs, and even went as far as running a cord to a generator as a separate power source from the house. It doesn't make sense, but it's the truth, and it's driving me insane. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you, Dave Rice

Does this interference show up on ALL signal inputs (Cable, OTA, Disc, Steaming, etc) ? Have tried using ferrite chokes?

I have tried chokes, however this is not OTA, nor am I getting sound interference. To be honest, I never really knew where to place them as well. I've had them on the tv power cord, the box cord and the hdmi.

What other types of RF equipment is in that room, stuff like cordless phones, WIFI routers or modems, bluetooth devices, wireless security devices, things like that there, could be a problem.

Also you didn't tell us the source for the programming, in that room, is it satellite, cable or something else as you said it's not an OTA signal.
