Default Sony HDR-HC1 can shoot 3d HD with a NuView

i shot some 3D field sequential footage with my Sony HDR-HC1 and the NuView 3d attachment . it fits perfectly on the little HD camcorder. you can play it back on a Sony HD CRT monitor and see the 3d HD footage!!!!!!! also there are Toshiba HD CRTs that work also. a small company in Germany(Cyberhaven) has a new product(set top box) that they say will allow you to see field sequential 3d footage on a progressive scan large screen LCD, PLASMA ,DLP ,HDTV.....so 3d on HDTV is ready now. its very simple. anybody else shot 3d hd ????

I 1st came across the Nuview 3D attachment 6 years ago.I sent for some brochures and was quite interested in it.However,I was put off by some of the posts in some 3D forum saying that the pictures tend to be flickering and not very bright. The problem is it's virtually impossible to 'go into a shop to check out the picture quality before you buy it ' like you do with any other video equiptments. So I gave up the idea. However, judging by the enthusiasm from your post, you must have good result from it.I would appreciate your opinion on the actual picture quality.I've just bought an HC3 and in the process of upgradding to a plasma or LCD 47'' HD TV.Your advice will be veru much appreciated.

Everything You Need to Turn Your Camcorder into a 3D Movie Maker! On Sale! $449.00 List price:$499.00 This product has been discontinued
The 3D Producer Kit includes everything you need to make and watch your own 3D Movies - a Nuview 3D Adapter and a Video Viewing System with 3D glasses. The Nu-View 3D Adapter is a video camera add-on which turns almost any ordinary camcorder into a 3D movie maker. It attaches easily to nearly any consumer or prosumer video camera and works for all current world-wide video and TV systems (PAL or NTSC). The 3D videos can be watched immediately on any standard television set, using the 3D Video Viewing System included in the kit. In most cases, the Nu-View Adapter will not interfere with the zoom or autofocus functions of the video camera. The recorded material can be copied and edited, just like any standard video recording, with no special equipment required. It's the Ultimate Camcorder Accessory! Compared to earlier 3D video recording systems which were based on two separate cameras or expensive double-lens cameras, the Nu-View is a major step forward in terms of price, handling and availability.

Dear Members; Can anyone tell me how good the image quality is when you attach the Nu-View adapter to a Sony HD video camera..I.e. either on a CRT TV or using the cyberhaven device to play it into a DLP widescreen TV..What does the Cyberhaven device cost? Palkyrie

Does anyone know where I can actually find a NuView? I am attempting to gather funding for an independant 3d film, but without the 3d part I'm in a bit of trouble!
