If the camera can act as a usb host and burn files to DVD can it also act as a host for a usb hard drives and allow transfer of files from internal and SD memory to USB hard drive directly and no need for PC.
IF it can do this then I also can't see why the camera could then not also play the files directly from the hardrive when you have the camera conected to your TV via HDMI.

Exclamation 3D Overide on the SD90

Hi All,
I have bought a 46mm lens filter to fit the 3D adapter step up ring to protect the camera lens when I'm filming from a fixed point on a motorcycle. Now I have the problem with the SD90 thinking there is a 3D lens fitted making filming impossible from the bike due to the zoomed in picture the camera uses with the 3D set up. Is there some way to overide the automatic 3D detection with the step up ring fitted.
In case your wondering why I hav'nt bought a lens filter to fit directly onto the SD90, well, finding a lens filter with 41.5mm diameter is nigh on impossible.....unless someone here knows of somewhere???
Thanks for any help you may have.

Default Tm90 lens cover stuck

Hello, I hope someone can guide me here.
My tm90 is less than a year old and it is now showing problems with the lens cover.
It doesn't close even on switching off and when I switch on, it makes a whirring noise and starts up but the lens cover doesn't move although I can manually push it down and start shooting.

Is the anyway to fix this ?

Bought this in USA and am currently in UK and it appears that the warranty covers only USA.

Hi everyone,
I am desperate for some help. I took the HDC-TM90 on our trip to Italy. For some reason the camera about once per day would not stop recording. Literally no button I could press would stop the recording. The only thing I could do was pull the battery. When I did and turned the camera back on it asked me to repair the video files which I allowed and accepted every time. Then at the end of the trip the camera froze, gave some error message about card failure, and I had to shut it down. Now I put the card into the PC and it immediately says that I need to format this card. It won't show up in Windows Explorer. I have run several different software versions of memory card file recovery but no success. Any thoughts?

When I plug my TM90 into my newer Windows 7 computer, it asks if I want to burn a dvd or copy to my computer. When I plug it into my somewhat older windows vista computer, this window does not pop up. I've checked my auto settings. Is there any way to get this screen to work w/my Vista computer (via settings change?)?

Thanks!

hello guys, I have a Panasonic Sd90 PAL. I'm using it for quite some times already. One thing I noticed is that when I move the camera or pan it slowly or a bit faster, the images tend to blur. How can I prevent blurring? I tried to move the camera slowly but still the video blurs. The video is so clear when not panning but when I start to move, it blurs and it makes me dizzy. Is there a problem with my setting or shutter speed? What should I do about this? Please help me with this. thanks

Default Fuzzy lines in playback

Hello
My HDC-SD90 has fussy lines in playback when imported into iMovie or iPhoto. Its using a Sandisk SHDC Extreme video class 10 card. I presume this is not normal. It is not just when panning But on moving object too. SD card has been formatted in the camera.

What setting should I have the camera set to in order to achieve teh best results?

Any help is appreciated.

Default NO DATA blockade

Just getting started using my SD90 and after briefly exploring the screen (probably touched the wrong thing) I'm stymied by it suddenly saying NO DATA to most all basic starting operations. I must have done something to incure this but found nothing online towards an answer re NO DATA. How can I 'unlock' the screen or do whatever is needed so it simply reverts back to normal so I can use it?
Thanx!

Default sd90p-k camera problem in 1080/60P mode

I have the sd90p-k camera and when I'm videoing in 1080/60P mode, after downloading the files to my video editor, i get a lot of frames that have jaggies (blocks of video corruption) around movement. It happens roughly every 10 seconds or so and last for about 3 frames. It does not happen in HA1920 mode. Anyone else seeing this problem? Didn't see a firmware update for this camera. Any thoughts? Watching the video at normal speed, you don't notice it, but when stepping through the video frame by frame, it is very noticeable and concerning. The amount that it is happening is concerning. I am using a class 10 SDHC card.

Default Recommended Mic & Lighting

I have owned my Panasonic HDC TM90 for two years now and I am currently looking to purchase an external mic and an external light for the camcorder. Any recommendations?

Default Internal Mike

Anyone know how I turn up my TM90s internal mike? I used an external and now the internal is way to low to pick up most everything unless you talk right into it from 6" away. Help please...don't want to have to use an external mike on it all the time! Makes the unit much larger then I want it most the time.

Thanks for help.

Default anyone still here?

been a few years since a new post so I hope perhaps someone's still monitoring this thread.

need to get my beloved SD90 repaired and hoped someone here had experience with Panny's service outlet in Texas?

anyone every sent them your gear for repair?

(my screen just went black, and though everything else still works--it still shoots video!--I just can't see anything).

thanx so much for your attention and I hope y'all love your Panny cam as much as I do.
