HD videos take up much space for storage. BD is more enough and seems the best choice to save the videos without quality loss. But, it will be a problem to play and extract them. After all, I first need to buy a Blu-ray player or Blu-ray drive, if I wish to watch it on home TV or computer. On the contrary, DVD is convenient and cost less. But the picture quality can't be fully copied when burning them to disc with DVD creator.

Try using a USB 3.0 flash drive, a bit more expensive, but you can do a direct copy.

I use a couple of 2 terabyte hard drive's on a USB 3.0 connection and direct store the program's to them. I use a video card from ""Blackmagic Design"" to capture the HDMI video and also their software, it's expensive stuff but works. Last edited by Terryl3; 10-10-2018 at 11:30 AM.. |
