actually i think it is pretty good that they are loading it up with all those demos for people that are buying the console for the first time, since the demos they include are pretty widespread. plus, do you realize how long it would take to download all those demos for us poor saps that only have a 1.5mbps dsl? lol i'd rather get stuff preloaded on a harddrive rather than sit there for 2 days to download everything, and then find out that some of the demos i downloaded weren't worth the time it took

Oh sweet. Demos.

Awesome.

You couldn't kick the buyer a full version of UNO or something? I mean you did leave out wifi.

Maybe we are greedy... or maybe they are stingy.

Bah, whatever. Guitar Hero comes out in like 5 days. That's bigger news.

Yeah I'm beating a dead horse. But it just baffles me.

yea thats what im saying.. i was hoping more stuff.. even the built in wifi would have been something different to look forward to... when they said "advance features" i dont know i just thought of something else they where going to add to make this one more special then the regular one instead of ONLY adding HDMI output when in the first place they(M$) where the ones that said HDMI was not needed

yeah but you have to remember that most of the advanced featured have come from firmware upgrades....the IPTV will probably end up being a firmware upgrade, and maybe they'll add some more stuff to. but either way, the bigger harddrive and hdmi (and new motherboard) i think are pretty good for only $80 more if someone was looking for a new 360 system since the 120gb harddrive alone is $180 (microsoft dollars, not the amount is should be in real world dollars lol)

Yea if Im walking into a store buying one and dont already have one...I'd grab that one too...but to "trade-up" or something along them line is crazy IMO. And yes the IPTV will certainly be an update,I assume with the spring update.Again, this IPTV stuff is pretty far out from what I can gather...hell they only had ONE IP signed up last I checked.

people are making way too much of a fuss over this whole thing anyway. look, there are rumors now that the ps3 could possibly come out with an 80gb ps3 version...does that mean that current 60gb owners should suddenly start thinking about upgrading to that when it comes out?? no, it is just another optional console for new gamers with a bigger harddrive...plus, if that rumor is true, then all of a sudden we are going to see everyone eat their words when they were ripping on m$ for coming out with an "updated" console 1 1/2 years after it launched....

Ugh, much like when they preloaded the 360 with a bunch of trailers and crap, I deleted those as soon as I turned it on.

Has anyone read or heard that the hard drive in the Elite package will come with the data transfer cable?
