I just finished the first one earlier this week.

Is this a sequel or another "Doom". I hate to call it a reboot when the last one was just a couple years ago.

It's a sequel to 2016's reboot. The graphics look insane, the recommended requirements are going to hurt, lol.

The graphics don't look that much more improved over the 2016 game. I just finished it Monday, so it's fresh to my eyes.

I was able to max it out and running 80-90FPS on an 8600K and 1070. Assuming they're using the same engine (I didn't listen to the keynote, so correct me if I'm wrong), we should expect similar performance.

Awol from what I read they're using the idTech7 engine and it was seen for the first time with Doom Eternal. That's great that you had it maxed out @80-90 fps.
awol likes this.
