Default Need a way to play from bed

So I might have brought this up before, but I have some major back issues going on, and it's becoming near impossible to sit down on a chair for any length of time.

A couch, or recliner aren't an option due to space. i'm limited to a small bedroom. I do have an adjustable bed(electric motor powered) and a 55 inch tv that is 1.5 feet from the end of the bed or so.

I need a way to play games comfortably from bed. I've considered the Couchmaster Cyclon as an option, but I'd love to hear some more.

It's been an extremely rough year for me health wise and mentally, I have two bulging discs in my lower back, osteoarthritis in my spine, and severe stenosis in 3 places in my spinal cord.

I'm pretty much in constant pain and am on the max amount of opiates directed by guidelines. It's been fucked to say the least.

I'm reaching the point where I am having a hard time operating the same way I was before...so you guys are the best at figuring this stuff out.. so go.

That really sucks. I'm sorry to hear that you're going through that. I've been gaming from a recliner as of late. Mostly I just play games that use a controller. Even on my Skyrim re-play I've been using a controller. I've found that hooking my gaming laptop up to my TV with an HDMI cable even upscaling 1080P output to 4K looks really good and it works fine. I also have the PS4-Pro which also does a great job.

In terms of using a mouse and keyboard unless you're willing to put like a floor standing tray system I'm not sure what you can do for that. I have a pillow bottom desk that I use in my recliner but I don't think it would work in a bed situation.

What I will say, on a personal level as someone who has had some nasty knee issues. If you can walk, continue to do so. Don't let yourself get complacent with your health. Do as much as you are able to every single day and try and make it a little bit more each day even if it's just a single step. I was 350 pounds at my heaviest and with my worst knee issues. I'm now 290 3 years later. It's a daily struggle to convince myself to keep going. I take opiates, but like, a pill a week. Mostly I stick to Xanax and wine.

I think the product you've mentioned would work the best. I have a laptop stand that I had tried to use, but it wasn't wide enough for a full size keyboard and the mouse. I would use the Nostromo I had as much as possible, but eventually gave up and have been using the controller as much as possible. It's just easier.
