I actually just installed it yesterday after upgrading my HD to 500GB in my laptop.

Being in IT, I kind of need to be on the bleeding edge I still have my other Hard drive though so in a few minutes I can be back on Vista.

So far it runs great though. As fast if not faster then Vista.

Yeah I remember when I did Lan Admin work for Verizon I had to upgrade to XP just so I could learn the ins/outs of it, and luckily I had hardly any issues, but Vista & Win7 are a different ball game with some of the older peripherals I still use because they still work, but likely have no drivers for them. I also have some DOS software that still works better for after the fact accounting than the windows version and even XP SP2 & Sp3 caused some issues with them.

I heard so far that Win7 is closer to what Vista was supposed to be and is faster than Vista, but still not as fast as XP.

I like Linux Mint and Windows XP. Faster cleaner and drivers available.
