Default No Audio Through HDMI

I know there are many posts on many forums with this title, but my problem doesn't seem to make any sense at all.

I have a Sharp Aquos LC45GD4U LCD tv
Sony DVP-NS90V DVD Player
XBOX 360
and a Motorola DCH3416 HD DVR.

I have these all going hdmi into an hdmi hub and then to the tv. I use the tv speakers only for audio. Everything worked great 2 days ago. I get audio just fine through the dvr. I have video but no audio on the xbox and the dvd player. I have tried turning everything off and back on, unplugging also, but no change. I tried running the dvd player and xbox each to the tv directly with hdmi but it was still the same. I tried a different hdmi cable also.

I connected the xbox to the tv with component cables and that works, but I would like to go back to hdmi. Does anybody have any ideas?

Check the settings on the Xbox and DVD, and make sure that audio is being sent through HDMI.

I checked all the settings and they look fine. I tried playing around with them but I'm still not getting audio. It just doesn't make sense that 1 device is working fine, and the other 2 are having this audio problem.

your hdmi cables might have went bad.. try switching the cables out and see if that helps

Yes I have tried a completely different hdmi cable direct from the dvd player and xbox and no audio there either. A bad cable seems to be the default answer everyone gets, but it's probably only the issue 1% of the time.

Did you try increasing the volume on the tv? LOL!

If one works and two don't, and you tried using the exact same HDMI port for all three items, then either the two items are defective or there is an incorrect setting somewhere causing the lack of audio.
